Two more events have been added to the schedule. They are a Karaoke block at night and the panel Pros and Conventons. You may download the updated schedule PDF here.

Well, folks, the 2011 Summer Matsuri is less than week away. We're sure you've been wondering what all we've been keeping from you, waiting to announce... let's take a look at what we've added... starting with special guset Beat Leather For Movies. BL4M will be performing clean versions of his material, so don't worry about that parental advisory logo on the website.

• We welcome the retun of vendors Black Knight Comics and Neko-Jin Designs.
  
  
• The first version of our schedule is online in PDF format... this shouldn't be changing much before the convention. This is also the most complete and concise listing of events.
  
  
• The Panel listing on our event page has been updated with more panel descriptions to better reflect the actual programming.
  
  
• There will be an indoor meetup right before the Cosplay Picnic to give picnic goers an opportunity to get pictures in their costumes before sitting on the ground,or to meet up with each other and chat.
  
  
• Artist group Chibi Gem has filled the last spot in Artist Alley.
  
  
• AAC friend and Anime pop sensation L33tStr33t Boys will be selling CDs and merch in our Dealers and Artist room.
  
  
• Currently, there will be Halo Reach 2v2 and Smash Brothers Brawl video game tournaments. We may have one more by the end of the week.
  
  
• The classic FPS mini-LAN will be returning to the video game room this year.
  
  
• This year, we are introducing a new AMV room. Be sure to check out this room on the schedule for a complete listing of programming blocks.
  
  
• In light that the only ATM nearby is a little bit of a walk (back at the main hotel building) we will be accepting all major credit cards for registration, in addition to cash and checks. Don't forget that cash for the dealers room, artist alley, and Onigiri 101 panel.
  
  

We've just added a bunch of events over on the events page. This includes our first two panels, the cosplay picnic, cosplay fashion show, and four artists.

Hey everyone, it's that time again! It's Matsuri time! This time, for two years in a row! What's a Matsuri? A Matsuri is a one-day mini-con, fully stocked with panels, cosplay contest, vendors, and game shows. Show up in your Saturday Con-finest and enjoy all that we have to offer, we'll be sure to show you a good time.
